Inspired by real lives and real challenges, Embrace was created to make giving and receiving support simple, heartfelt, and unforgettable.
Dr. Nandan Lad ( Founder )
For Dr. Nandan Lad and his son, Atlas, Embrace was born from a lifetime of experiences shaped by loss, resilience, and connection.
The passing of Nandan's grandfather, Waman Desai, from Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and Atlas's grandfather, Horia Maries, who battled bladder cancer and stroke, reinforced their understanding of illness and the power of support. Through personal loss and loved ones facing ALS, cancer, and other challenges, they saw firsthand the need for community, memory, and celebration.
As a surgeon, Dr. Lad has witnessed the profound impact of emotional support. Inspired by these experiences, he and Atlas built Embrace — a platform to bring people together in life's toughest and most joyous moments. Whether honoring a loved one, celebrating a milestone, or simply offering encouragement, Embrace helps communities show up, from beginning to end and everything in between.
Coordinating encouragement shouldn't add to the stress. Embrace makes it simple and intuitive.
A gift of collective voices carries a power unlike anything else. It's deeply personal and impactful.
Whether it's cheering someone on before a challenge, sending get-well wishes, or celebrating a milestone, shared support strengthens bonds.
Whether near or far, we help create moments that bring people together, ensuring every message feels as close and heartfelt as if it were shared in person.
Since our launch, Embrace has been empowered to uplift and inspire others during pivotal moments. From cheering on a cancer survivor to celebrating a milestone birthday from miles away, Embrace has turned everyday compassion into something extraordinary. Thank you for joining us on this journey and we are honored to help make an impact in the lives of your friends and family.
We're building more than a platform; we're creating a community. Join Embrace to celebrate, heal, and connect in ways that truly matter.
